28. International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia – News

Despite current circumstances, we are preparing for the 28th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia  that will  take place  13 – 16 May 2021.

The Competition Committee is reviewing submitted applications and listening to the candidates’ recordings.

The list of the qualified participants will be published on our website on 6 April 2021.

The participants will be informed about the details by e-mail.

FOR CANDIDATES WHO APPLIED TO 2020 COMPETITION

We would like to inform that all previous applications  that were submitted in 2020 remain valid  for the postponed 28th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth. The candidates are obliged to confirm their participation or resign from the competition in 2021 by completing the form below. In case of resignation from the competition, the competition fee will be fully refunded to the account provided in the form below.

Please note that age groups for the next competition change:

• group I – for those born in 2011, 2012, 2013 or younger.
• group II – for those born in 2008, 2009, 2010.
• group III – for those born in 2004 *, 2005, 2006, 2007.

* (applies to applications received by June 30, 2020)

In case of changing the age group, the participant should adjust the competition program in accordance with the Rules.

Changes in the repertoire should be submitted by March 8, 2021 to  e-mail (konkurs@szafarnia.art.pl)
